Nundle is an isolated, picturesque village situated 60 kms from the nearest large centre. The school plays a central role in the community, attracting a high level of support from and involvement of families and the local community.
The school is centrally located within the village allowing our students access to the swimming pool, tennis courts, sports field, library and shops. Most of our students travel by bus to attend school. In 2000 the school received 14% of its funding from the Disadvantaged Schools Program. Educational programs are developed to maximise opportunities for children to engage in diverse learning experiences to meet their needs. A strong emphasis is placed on activities and programs that will enable students to cope with transition to a large high school, participate in future vocations and become valued members of their communities. We continue to promote our school motto of 'Honour, Industry and Truth' in all aspects of day to day school life.
Nundle Public School has an enrolment of 24 students. We offer a variety of sporting and cultural activities. We also have a parents and citizens' assocation operated before and after school and vacation care service available.
