Nundle Public School was first founded in 1872 and celebrated its 15oth anniversary in 2022. Today, Nundle Public School has 27 primary students enrolled, 3 teachers, a teaching principal and 4 admin/support staff.
The school is centrally located in the beautiful township of Nundle, a small isollated village situated 60 kms from the nearest large centre. Its picturesque setting allows easy access to local amenities such as the local swimming pool, town hall, library, and park. Most students travel to school via the local bus service.
The school plays a central role in the community, attracting a high level of support and involvement from families and the local community. The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) actively hold several fundraising activities such as the weekly canteen and the annual Great Nundle Dog Race with the funds directly subsidising student fees such as excursions and education resources.
Additionally, the school P&C offers an outside-of-school-hours care service three afternoons a week and a vacation care program during the holidays, providing extra support for families.
All staff at Nundle Public School are dedicated on providing excellent care and education.
A strong emphasis is placed on activities and programs that will enable students to cope with transition to a large high school, participate in future vocations and become valued members of their communities. We continue to promote our school motto of 'Honour, Industry and Truth' in all aspects of day to day school life.
