The Premier's Debating Challenge is open to all NSW Government Schools with the aim of developing Public Speaking and reasoning skills for student from Years 5 to 12.
Every debate in the challenge is given a 1 hour preparation time. Students are unaware of the topic for the debate or which side they are debating until one hour before the debate starts. This challenge encourages children to "think on their feet" and to improve on their effective communications skills.
Nundle Public School students from Years 5&6 are given the opportunity to join the debating team and selected students will represent the school in the Premier's Debating Challenge held in Term 2 & 3.
Students also participates in the prepared debates at the annual Tamworth Eisteddfod.

2014 - Winner of Tamworth Region Zone in The Premier's Debating Challenge.
